Odyssey Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced RF Engineer in Round Rock, TX. Desirable candidate should have a BSEE or MSEE degree with 5+ years of relevant experience. Experience in all aspects of Design, Reverse Engineering, and Analysis of RF Generators, Tuning Networks, and Microwave generators is preferred. Skills necessary are Circuit Design, Circuit Analysis, PCB Prototyping, Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, Thermal Analysis, Impedance Matching, Mechanical prototyping, and Component evaluation. RF power levels typically to 10kW with frequency ranges to 100MHz. Equipment applications vary widely but are generally used to generate and sustain Plasma loads for Films Deposition, Etching, and Coatings in a variety of industries including Semiconductor Processing, Medical Imaging, Industrial Coatings, and Photovoltaic panels. Engineer will be part of an Engineering Team. Experience with Impedance Matching, various Amplifier Classes, and Filter designed for 1kW and greater is a plus. Candidate should also have experience utilizing test equipment such as Network and Spectrum analyzers and be able to build test fixtures as necessary. Candidate should also possess a strong work ethic and maintain a positive attitude.

Odyssey Technical Solutions has an immediate opening for an experienced Electronics Assembler. Desirable candidate should have more than 2 years experience assembling PCBs. Candidate should be familiar with standard concepts and practices relative to PCB assembly. Candidate should be experienced in hand soldering a variety of electronics components including Through Hole and SMT. Be able to assemble, disassemble, modify, and rework PCBs of various complexity and build. Be familiar with and follow ESD protocols, adhere to IPC and J-STD-001 workmanship standards, and be able to rework to IPC-7711 standards. Be able to work from drawings, schematics, work instructions, and procedures to assemble, inspect, and test PCBs of varying complexity. Desirable candidate posesses an outstanding work ethic, stable work history, be able to work in a team environment, has excellent communication skills, is detail oriented, and takes pride in their work. Relevant soldering and workmanship certifications are a plus.
